Linked to from my Knowledge Base Articles page is: SPS: A Patch Is Available for a Potential Security Vulnerability in the SharePoint Portal Server Client (Q321780) Says "A malicious Web site operator may be able to use a potential security vulnerability to write information to a SharePoint Portal Server 2001 client computer." Importantly, it also says "Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next SharePoint Portal Server 2001 service pack that contains this fix." I'm just letting you know.

There are some interesting discussions out there comparing SharePoint with Radio Community Server a bloglike knowledge management tool. In the Flangy News, Adam Vandenberg makes the excellent point:
"In SharePoint you can see who published a document and do a query to see all documents by that person. But that person has no personality or presence in the system. UserLand and Radio is all about presence."
