Well, I now have enough delegates who have secured places at the SharePoint Spring Academy to confirm the event is taking place. The initial quota was six, but I have revised that down to three because I have been able to reduce the cost of the the event by hosting it in the Calyx Training Centre 5 minutes from the Alexander Hotel. Calyx are one of the few Microsoft CTECs (Certified Training Education Centres) in Ireland. I have worked with them before and their services are excellent.

So the numbers are small, but for technical training I think that will mean delegates will get more intensive training rather than being just a "face in the crowd". I have had a number of other enquiries so I think I will have more people signing up. There's only two weeks to go, so get organised! A frequently asked question is from companies that don't have a credit card, how can they sign up? In that case, they can secure a place for their delegate by emailing me. I will invoice them and they can pay by cheque or transfer.

Regarding the SPSFAQs I have received a unique piece of code from Dave Sampieri that adds a vertical scrolling Announcements bar into the top row of the dashboard. Alongside the dashoard title and logo. It is unique in that is the first time I've seen this empty space made useful. It is at SPSFAQ090142 - Display Announcements in the Title area.

I've also added the following. The one on SPSv2 is similar to one I added before but it helps clarify the advantages of SPSv2 over WSSv2.
SPSFAQ010229 - Why do people need use SharePoint Portal Server V2 while Windows SharePoint Service has all the functionality?
SPSFAQ080158 - Is there a place in sharepoint to review an entire author history for a document, not just Version history?
