Tariq Ayad very generously sent me an article on using C# with SharePoint Portal Server 2001, I hope you all find it useful, there's not much information out there of this kind so I think it's a great addition ot the site.

My not so all seeing eye has discovered that the very talented James Edelen MVP has a public blog called Jim's Thoughts. I think this could grow into a very interesting wellspring of knowledge if James has the time to share even a little bit of what he knows!

For example, his blog linked me to this SharePoint RSS Feed Generator (WSS RSS) which lets you subscribe to a list in SharePoint as an XML feed in the RSS format. The possibilities of realtime publishing of SharePoint Lists out to multiple websites are making my head spin. This code is still in it's early stages, but I thought it had interesting potential applications. If you want to learn a bit more about RSS, look at my syndication page. Applications like InfoPath/XDocs are showing how structured XML data is being taken seriously by Microsoft and lots of big corporations. It's the future people visit it before it visits you!

I've also linked to the SharePoint University site which focuses mainly on WSS. all of these are on my Links page for future reference.
