    837249 - SharePoint Portal Server 2003 hotfix package: March 8, 2004

    The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package, but was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
    When you try to create an audience by adding a user as a Member of a group account rule, you may receive the following error message:

    One or more values typed on this page are not valid. Check the text for the indicated fields.

    No account is found from Active Directory based on your input.
    This problem may occur when you try to add a user (such as Domain\UserName) and the NetBIOS domain name is different from the first part of the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).
