Well, to start with, here's a heads up about the SharePoint seminars starting Monday (7th of June 2004) over at www.SharePointD2D.com. There will be nine seminars presented by Microsoft SharePoint Technical Managers. During the seminar, the SharePoint product manager and the seminar tech will be answering 100% of all questions posted. A link to the seminar registration is here The ones on integration with BizTalk and the Object Model will be the ones I'm looking out for, one's on the 16th of June, Bloom's Day if I remember right.

I've updated my recent post on SharePoint Workflow to add a section on applying a Unique ID to a Document. This time the method I've used is probably more suitable for business environments. I'm incrementing a "master list" row with the ID number stored in it that all added documents on any site refer to to set their ID, it's incremented by one each time too. Check it out.

Here's some new handy pieces of information for you:
SPSFAQ0802100 - How to add your custom properties to Web Parts
SPSFAQ0302105 - A clever way to develop web parts
This SPSFAQ just makes the process to re-installing your web parts each time you want to test a new bit of code you've added while developing.
SPSFAQ0602108 - Users can't cut and paste into SPS Web folders
This is a situation where this feature stops working because of an updated DLL from Windows Update

There's a couple of KB articles of course... One relates to SPSFAQ0602108

And, finally, for my own amusement, I've started a Blog called GoodGeekStuff. It's somewhere to catalog my various geeky interests. It's just an experiment really.
