Twitter Updates

This update has some real new SharePoint stuff, not just my fixation on Google!

There is all manner of goodies, first is something useful for when the account SharePoint was installed with changes or needs to be changed. This lists in brief everywhere you will need to go to fix this, note, in a server farm, this may be more than one machine:

SPSFAQ0602155 - What do I do if the user account SharePoint was installed with is deleted, the password changed, or needs to be changed?

Some updates are handy fixes or practical little scripts:

SPSFAQ0302168 - In a survey, how do I change the text 'Specify your own value'?
SPSFAQ050222 - Script that finds all your site collections and makes a seperate backup of each
SPSFAQ0302169 - How to make a calculated column that says how old an item is in days etc
SPSFAQ0302170 - How can I validate SharePoint file names on upload?

Some explain aspects of SharePoint well:

SPSFAQ0602153 - How do I get started understanding Reporting Services for SharePoint?
SPSFAQ0602154 - Scoping and Configuring the Content Index for the Site Directory in SharePoint Portal Server 2003
SPSFAQ0802159 - What is the difference between using Biztalk vs Windows Workflow Foundation for Workflow with SharePoint?
    SPSFAQ0802160 - Can SPS2003 support ASP.NET 2.0?

Some are clever extensions to the application or give you the ability to make your own:

SPSFAQ090264 - Multiple Document Library Browser Web Part
SPSFAQ0802160 - Is there a good way to display Windows Folders in SPS?
SPSFAQ0802156 - Programming Role-based Security in Web Parts
SPSFAQ0802158 - How can I check for broken links in SPS?
SPSFAQ0302169 - A good way to display a users inbox in SPS

Some look to the future, and since it is 2006 now, a fitting thing to end on:

SPSFAQ0803161 - First look at Excel Server and SharePoint
    SPSFAQ0802157 - Slide decks from PDC2005

I hope you have a happy new year.
