Wednesday, February 04, 2009 OK, you can't really have it all, but you can have SharePoint as your front end and 3rd party repositores as the back end like Documentum and Interwoven, in other words, the content in the other systems, but all the benefits of SharePoint too like workflows, task lists, and extensible metadata.

Fair point, it is not like Documentum can't do that, but some users prefer the SharePoint interface and way of doing them.
